Concrete and Steel Structures
Structural elements are the parts of a construction that serve to give it strength and rigidity. Its main function is to support the weight of the construction and the stresses of a building such as earthquakes, winds, etc. They are manufactured with a combination of hydraulic concrete and reinforcing steel, their materials and dimensions depend on the size and use of the building. Reinforced concrete structures can be built from cast-in-place or precast elements, integrating the tensile strength of steel and the compressive strength of concrete.
